Hi, I’m Rachel
My love for cooking began at a young age while spending time in the kitchen with my grandmother. Although I lost that passion during high school, I found my way back to cooking after leaving college to become a teacher.
That decision led me to culinary school, where I rediscovered how much I truly love creating and sharing food. Today, cooking is not only my passion but also a way for me to connect with others and carry on the memories that started it all.
My experience in food service began at age 12, when I started volunteering at the snack shack during my sister’s softball games. By 15, I was working as a busser, and I eventually spent more than 10 years working in the front of house at various restaurants.
While I don’t have as much experience working the line, I’ve always enjoyed working independently, staying focused, and taking pride in what I do. My years in the restaurant industry have given me a strong understanding of hospitality, teamwork, and the fast-paced world of food service.
